How We Serve
Our programs are designed to help individuals overcome a wide range of mental health and addiction issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and more.
One of the primary responsibilities is to help children build and maintain positive routines that help them develop important life skills. A strong relationship can help them feel comfortable and open to receiving help. Building positive relationships with children is crucial, and we may do this through outings, conversations, and sharing life experiences.
Additionally, employees are responsible for transporting the children to and from school, appointments, visits with family, and court appointments as needed. To promote a well-rounded experience, we engage our youth in activities, group therapy, and social outings. They also help them build positive communication skills, frustration tolerance, positive peer interactions, and positive daily routines. Finally, caretakers must be equipped with crisis communication skills needed to de-escalate physical/verbal altercations, suicidal ideation/behaviors, and challenges at school and within the facility.
We also teach our young people life skills and responsibilities, such as cooking, cleaning, proper hygiene, communication, conflict resolution, time management, money management, job interviews, and more. By learning these important life skills, teens can become more independent, responsible, and successful as they transition into adulthood.
Furthermore, we link our youth with additional services, job boards, and transitional programs to help them build a better future. All of these efforts are aimed at helping them achieve their goals and make lasting changes in their lives.
